Our friends over at The Dirt just published a list of the top ten condo projects in Toronto on their blog. While top ten lists of all sorts are everywhere, this particular one was compiled from feedback on their website using props, the dirt's own version of the Facebook like.
L Tower, Sherbourne & Selby and Pier 27 all made the list. It was nice to see the list full of great locations and unique design elements.

Next up on this round of spring construction updates are L Tower and Backstage. At L Tower the interiors are moving along quickly, and at Backstage there are big things happening below grade. Check out the photos below for an idea of what our crews are working on now.
On L Tower's exterior, our crews are continuing with the window installation. But the big changes this month are on the inside. Boarding is going up throughout all the suites and in the corridors and common areas.
This is essentially the base layer before drywall goes up and as boarding progresses the interiors will really start to take shape.
Our crews have been forging ahead at L Tower since last month's topping off gala. We have windows more than halfway up the building and framing is continuing.
At the lower floors, suite layouts are beginning to take shape and we'll be preparing some standard interior unit specifications over the coming weeks. More on that soon. Overall, interior work is progressing very well and we'll be installing drywall in the suites soon.
It's business as usual down at Yonge and The Esplanade and our L Tower project.
With 58 storeys to build, the main work for the past few months has been adding all those floors and getting more vertical. When we visited the site last week the crew were busy pouring floor 47 so there's not too long to go before we reach the top.
Aside from that, work is continuing on closing off the building, with windows installed up to floor 12, and electrical, plumbing and water works ongoing both at L and the Sony Centre Back of House.
So, not too much to report at this time. The name of the game is getting up to the top and we're well on our way to getting there soon.

This year has graced Cityzen with tons of activity already. Our sales offices are astir, though we do anticipate the pace of sales this year to be somewhat slower than last year. I think this is a good thing for the industry because it was so overheated last year.
Daniel Libeskind's building is elevating, accelerating and propelling forward steadily. At L Tower, we're pouring level 35 this week. Our crew is on a four-day cycle, so a floor is being carried out every four days. Of course, it helps that the weather has been pleasant.
L Tower's low-rise elevator door frames will be completed this week and will virtually wrap up by the end of next week. The cabs are currently being set up on the mid-rise elevators, and we're putting finishing touches to them this week. Sooner than later, the high-rise elevator construction work will start soon.
